Facial Expressions: A Visual Reference For Artists
















i picked this book up yesterday , its a wonderful reference for facial expressions and has pictures of all kinds of expressions from multiple angles. Definitely a must have for every animator.

To me, most the pictures in this book seem pretty overexaggerated and unrealistic. It's a bunch of people making faces. Not that that's bad, but I think it could have been just as useful with only a tenth of the pictures.


And that girl on page 22 looks awfully familiar....

I know what you mean but I like it the way it is. You can always tune down the exaggerated poses after all :)

I just picked this up as well on Ebay, looks pretty good, I do comics and modeling as well.
But your right Morgan Loomis, I forget how realistic comics, animation and 3D are ;P
